    It's a forever loop and I cannot seem to get rid of this particular attempted update by Windows 10, I have removed the Photosmart software and drivers and wiped SoftwareDistribution folder clean several times and it still comes up. I connected my printer via USB and it still happens. I searched for this problem on Google and seems other people have been getting that same message in 8/8.1 only to see solutions is "uninstall old drivers and reboot and install latest drivers" and I only have the latest one I can find and it doesn't help.

    I even have the option set to not download driver updates through WU.

    EDIT UPDATE - fixed it by specifically searching for devices in device manager and deleting ALL printers (and of course removing the HP printer software too). What a pain in the neck though.

    Window 10 will not allow printing of photos

    I have followed all suggestions from Windows, Hewlett Packard and Windows Community to no avail. My HP Photosmart Printer 6520 series will print emails, but will NOT print photos in Windows 10. Problem Windows 10: Hewlett Packard-Imaging-Null Print-HP
    Photosmart 6520 series-Error Ox802400b. The installation of Windows update has failed DAILY since 8/24/15.

    Should I or can I delete/remove Windows 10 and go back to Windows 8.1?
